Playing as a witch stuck in your mansion as it is being raided by a demonic entity, gather the ingredients to perform a ritual to escape. Made by myself and a few friends for the AGDS Freshers Jam 2024.

I developed the event-based interaction and highlight system for interacting with the various puzzle elements of the game. I was also responsible for creating the character controller and ensuring the camera provides an adequate view of the scene without clipping through any walls.

I was also responsible for creating the quest system used to track the player’s progress in the ritual, ensuring the player had to perform the ritual steps in the correct order, and updating the displayed elements on the ritual table as appropriate.

Vanishing Act was my first project developed in Unreal Engine, and was programmed in C++.
